ABOUT THE HEADLINER ~ funk

Savana Funk embodies the essence of a live band, blending funk, rock, blues, and African music with fiery jams and irresistible grooves. Formed in Bologna in spring 2015, Aldo, Blake, and Youssef quickly found a rare synergy, leading to immediate concerts and songwriting. They've released several albums, including "MUSICA ANALOGA" (2016), "SAVANA FUNK" (2017), "Bring in the New" (2018), "Tindouf" (2021), and "Ghibli" (2022). Known for their energetic live performances, they've played major festivals like Jova Beach Party, Firenze Rocks, and Sziget Festival. In 2023, they collaborated with Willie Peyote and released the EP "Ghibli – The Remixes." A collaborative EP with Gaudi, "Raha," will be released in 2024.
